In observance of International Women’s Day 2025, our focus centered on fostering a secure and empowered community. We orchestrated a comprehensive Self-Defense Training program, expertly led by the renowned Gujarat Thaiboxing Association. This session provided women with essential, practical skills to navigate and defend against instances of harassment or inappropriate conduct, building a foundation of personal safety.
Complementing this, a deeply informative presentation by Abhayam Women Helpline (181) offered critical insights into available support networks and resources, empowering women with the knowledge to access assistance when needed.
To celebrate the spirit of womanhood and cultivate a sense of unity, we also engaged in creative and joyful activities. The artistry of Nail Art and the playful expression of Temporary Tattoos added a vibrant and memorable dimension to the day, reinforcing the strength, resilience, and celebratory spirit of women. This multifaceted approach allowed us to honor International Women’s Day 2025 by addressing both the vital aspects of safety and the joyous celebration of women’s contributions.
