SAP technology, ABAP Development practice
SAP created a high-level programming language called ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) which can be used by SAP customers to develop custom reports and interfaces with ABAP programming. The advantage being ABAP has an abstraction between the business applications, the operating system and database. And, this ensures that applications do not depend directly upon a specific server or database platform and can easily be ported from one platform to another.
Sarjen has integrated one of its application solutions with SAP and one of its modules uses RFC Programs to analyze and process customer data and return response with a message/Customer code, if successful.

Business requirement:
To deliver a cloud based SD system tightly integrated with SAP system to leverage SAP for MM, FI & Accounting and leverage Sarjen’s SD system which can be accessed even when mobile over any device and capability to have screens displayed with local language
Solution offered:
- Built design at database and UI level to support integration
- PI acting as a catalyst to bridge connectivity between systems for interchange of transactional flow of information
- Understood business requirement in detail to decide configurations in respective systems & ABAP, RFC components & .NET components to be customized and programmed
